Mrs Mary Susan Rickard, wife of the first pastor. She was born Mary Susan Mitchell in Madron, near Penzance, Cornwall, around 1837. They married in 1863. The Rickards had three children (William, born in 1864, Marion, born in 1866 and Emily, born in 1868). The family lived in Ridge Road.
